Summer Is the Time for Lower Dot Farmer's Markets...

There are two farmer's markets in Lower Dot! The Milton Village Farmer's Market (just over the bridge from Dorchester - behind the store fronts on Adams Street) takes place every Thursday from 1 - 6. The Fields Corner Farmer's Market takes place in the Orlando's Food Basket parking lot on Saturdays from 9 - noon. Check out our blog entry from two years ago: Milton Lower Mills Wharf Farmer's Market blog entry

There are also farmers' markets in Codman Square (at the Codman Square Health Center on Thursdays from 4 to 7 PM) and at Dorchester House (in the Maxim Pharmacy parking lot, see dorchesterhouse.org for schedule). There are others in Dorchester but not in what you'd consider Lower Dot.

Good to know. We mostly stick to things on Dorchester Ave. between Lower Mills and Fields Corner, but those are not very far away! Thanks for the heads up.

I heard that Peabody Square will have a farmers market this year. Does anyone know if that is true?
