We created this blog to draw attention to one part of Boston's best neighborhood! It is diverse and hip. It offers so many shops, restaurants, and things to do. Where is it? It is a stretch of Dorchester on Dorchester Ave. between Fields Corner and Lower Mills, including Peabody Square/Ashmont Station and Melville Park. We like calling it Lower Dorchester or Lower Dot.
WCVB TV's award-winning news magazine Chronicle will feature an episode about Dorchester's Peabody Square. The show will air this Wednesday, May 7, at 7:30 PM on Channel 5. Tune in for business profiles, a tour of the Carruth building, a lesson in antique timekeeping by one of the Square's official clock winders, and more.

Chris and Erin both reside in Dorchester. They enjoy listening to music, eating out, and exploring new places. Chris is a social studies teacher and Erin is a science teacher. They have two blogs about Dorchester: Lower Dot and Dorchester Think Tank.
